This is a Daily Hart first. Two separate recommendations came in for musician Joy Oladokun, so I knew I had to check her out. And now, all I can say is WOW. One recommendation was for “I See America“, while the other was for “Look Up“, and I loved both of these songs so much I couldn’t choose which one to feature. So I’m featuring both in yet another Daily Hart first.

That being said, I urge you to not stop at these two songs. Joy Oladokun is simply an exquisite musician. Her voice is almost hauntingly beautiful, and her words somehow manage to penetrate to the very depths of your soul. And no, I’m not being melodramatic. She’s just that good.

So a huge thank you to those who sent this incredible musician my way. I will forever be thankful that this music is now in my life.

Suggestions for artists I should check out? Please contact me with your ideas. I hope you enjoyed your daily helping of art!

This is a Daily Hart first. Two separate recommendations came in for musician Joy Oladokun, so I knew I had to check her out.
