It has come to my attention that I have yet to feature a drag performance as a daily helping during this or previous year’s challenges. A huge oversight on my part that ends today. And for my first drag daily helping, I’m going with a rec that came through that I check out the work of Sasha Velour. Thank goodness I did, because Sasha Velour is absolutely incredible. Everything about this performance is stunning. The fashion. The lighting. The projections. The effects. Just, wow. I will never understand why certain sections of society have decided that drag shows are the new forces of evil. How could something so beautiful and so full of self expression be anything other than joyous?
After watching this performance, I now want to go watch everything Sasha Velour has ever done. Which is a problem, because I can just see my productivity for the next couple of weeks going down the drain. But am I concerned about this? Absolutely not.
