Today’s daily helping is a bit of a trust exercise, because unfortunately, I don’t have any photos of the artworks to show you. I did spend several hours in the National Museum of Cambodia in Phnom Penh, and during that time I did see countless artworks from Cambodia’s history. The statues dating from the Khmer Empire were particularly impressive. But interestingly, this museum did not allow photos of any kind inside. So I took the above photo of its beautiful exterior facade instead, and you’re just going to have to trust me that the art inside was beautiful as well. Because it was. Just like everything else in this country. I love Cambodia.
