It’s May 1st, otherwise known as Labour Day in France. And this year, May 1st promises to be a rough one, likely even violent one, as millions of people take to the streets in protest of the government’s latest pension reforms. There’s a sense of trepidation in the air this morning, which is why I found it incredibly appropriate that YouTube sent me this piece by MOIRA. It’s beautiful, empowering, and somehow wonderfully calming. In other words, exactly what I needed this morning.
