I will admit that this is not the type of song I would normally choose to start out a weekend, but I couldn’t help it. I’m just fascinated by its structure. “Nobody” by Mitski kind of sounds like one, continuous, extraordinarily long run-on sentence. The grammar nerd in me is cringing, but the music fan in me loves it. It’s fun, catchy, and I know I’ll be humming it for days to come. Also, the video is chock-full of brightly coloured and surreal images. Honestly, what more could you want for a Friday night?
