I was in the mood for something soothing today. Something calm and peaceful. I was also hoping to add another country to my list of countries featured this year. Which is why I was delighted when “Arawi” by Luzmila Carpio came across my dash. Luzmila Carpio is a Bolivian singer who has been given the nickname of “The Voice of the Andes”, and this song was exactly what I was looking for today. Beautiful and soothing, but also upbeat in all the right places, and completely unlike anything I’ve ever heard before. Absolutely love it.
