Today’s daily helping is a bit of an odd one. It’s the result of my recent visit to the Fukuoka Art Museum, where I saw a stunningly beautiful painting by Keiji Usami called Ghost Plan No. 3. I stood in front of this painting for a not insignificant amount of time, just taking in its beauty, and I knew instantly that I wanted it to be that day’s Daily Hart.
The only problem with this plan was that there was a big sign next to the painting saying that no photos were allowed. No problem, I thought. I just took a photo of the placard information and figured I’d find a photo online later. Unfortunately, I later discovered that apparently that no photo rule has always existed, because I couldn’t find a single photo of Ghost Plan No. 3 by Keiji Usami anywhere online. I did, however, find a photo of Ghost Plan No. 2. So for the purposes of today’s daily helping, that will have to do. I promise you No. 2 is just as beautiful as No. 3. But you’ll just have to take my word on that.
