How can one spotlight produce such a dramatic effect? This incredible dance piece by choreographer Jennifer Romen and the dance company Oxygen is somehow both brilliantly understated and technical elaborate. No idea how they pulled that off, but I could absolutely watch this video a dozen more times. I love the ebbs and flows in the intensity of both the music and the movements, but I particularly love the sharp and purposeful movements. It’s something that’s always amazed me about dancers. How every movement they make is so precise and defined. I could never do what they do. Thankfully, I don’t have to. I can just enjoy amazing performances like this one. I can’t wait to check out more of Jennifer Romen’s work.
