Today’s daily helping is yet another rec, as a friend who is very passionate about photography told me I needed to check out the work of Elena Nassati. As it turns out, that friend was right, because Elena Nassati is an incredible photographer. I particularly love her series titled On Changes. It’s a beautiful collection of portraits, all of which manage to tell an entire story in just one image. I also love the way she plays with shadows within the photo composition, and the colour schemes are all fantastic. But mostly I just love the images of these people. They all feel like fully realized characters, and I have no idea how you do that with just one photo. As I said, my friend was right. Elena Nassati is definitely a photographer whose work I should know.
